Line Cook

We are currently seeking a passionate Line Cook to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a background in food preparation and cooking, with a focus on delivering quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, both independently and as a team with others, while maintaining standards for food safety and quality.
 

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling procedures.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours, as well as station recovery and replenishment during off peak hours.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, ovens, and knives.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a culinary role within the food industry is preferred, but not necessary...we will train those who are willing to learn.
  • Knowledge of commercial kitchen safety, including knife handling and proper operation of appliances, is helpful.
  • Experience with proper function of kitchen equipment is highly desirable.
  • A commitment to food safety practices is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
