WPAL Wicked Warrior Mud Run

The Western Pennsylvania Police Athletic League, Inc (WPAL) is thrilled to announce that once again, the WPAL Wicked Warrior will take place!

This event is a Mud Run / Obstacle Course with a 10K Main Course, a 5K Intermediate Course, and a Kid’s Obstacle Course. Treasure Lake, located in DuBois, PA, will host the run over the July 24th and 25th weekend.

Check-In for the Kid’s Run will begin at 4:30pm on Friday July 24th and is 100% FREE for all children. The kids will start running at 5:30pm. There will be fun and challenging obstacles and a little mud! Suggested ages for this race are 3-9 years old.

Check-In will begin for the 10K and 5K Runs Saturday at 7:00am on Saturday July 25th; preferred runners will be released at 8:00am with the remaining runners being sent out WPAL Executive Director Aaron Beatty said, “We couldn’t be more excited to bring this event back to the DuBois Area! The 340 foot x 50 foot Slip and Slide is going to be EPIC!“

Heat 1 will be released at 8:00am, Heat 2 at 8:10, and Heat 3 at 8:20 and so on. All other runners will be released at 9:00am. The finish line will take place on a 340x50 foot Slip and Slide!

Proceeds from this event benefit the North Pointe FD, Treasure Lake Sportsman Club, and the Western Pennsylvania Police Athletic League, a 501c3 nonprofit organization with a location at 37 E. Long Ave., DuBois.
