Intro to Wet Felting
The Winkler Gallery and Art Education Center is offering an introduction to Wet Felting by Billie A Schwab.
Join us as we explore the properties of wool, and other fibers, for the process of making wool fabric. We will learn the importance of positioning wool tops, onto a pre-felted base, to create an even and durable item. Various non-wool fibers, along with colorful fabrics, can be added during the felting process for embellishment. Additional items will be offered for adornment. Each student will receive a starter pack including bubble-wrap, netting, olive oil soap shavings, wool pre-felt, wool tops and embellishment fibers, fabrics, and other items.
