The League on Social Services and the Punxsutawney Area Chamber of Commerce are hosting a breakfast discussion on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 7:30–9:00 AM at the Punxsutawney Eagles. Guest speaker Karen Grimm-Thomas, Early Childhood Education Strategy Advisor at the Pennsylvania Key, will share strategies Pennsylvania businesses are using to reduce absenteeism, improve retention, and address the impact of child care shortages on productivity.
