DESCRIPTION:Community Connections of Clearfield-Jefferson Counties will be hosting a Train-the-Trainer Course on the Mental Health Advance Directives (MHAD) at the Luigi's Villa. PMHCA is offering a variety of MHAD training is PA. Community Connections intends to promote awareness and use of MHADs by persons with serious mental illness who receive services and support. By creating a cadre of trainers and of peers and consumer who understand the importance of planning for any mental health crises\, they expect that MHADs will become a routine and accepted part of mental health recovery supports.
